A Great Night of SalsaLast night NYP Tempo celebrated its historic photo shoot "A Great Day In Salsa" in true clave style at the Taj Night Club hosted by our very own Sandra Guzman and salsero Frankie Negron. Many of the legendary musicians who partook in the photo shoot joined in the celebration with instruments and microphones in hand giving tribute to the music that has taken them around the world. When Sandra Guzman took the microphone she gave thanks to the music legends that has kept us dancing through the years then introduced her co-host for the evening Frankie Negron, who called up everyone from the photo to take part in the spot light. Later percussionist Jimmy Delgado and Felipe Luciano took the microphone and educated everyone why they should support salsa. It was salsa's famous DJ Henry Knowles who was spinning the best in Latin music that kept everyone on the dance floor, but it was the Willie Torres band that was joined by the salsa elite that rocked the Taj. In attendance were singer Christian Castro, BET host Rocsi Diaz, actor Renoly Santiago, and many of the legends of salsa like Larry Harlow, Dave Valentin, Eddie Montalvo, Johnny Colon just to name a few.
