What
is Salsera or Salsero of the Month?
It is an award recognizing
one individual for their contribution to promoting, educating and
building the Latin dance community in Hampton Roads. This award is
presented by Seven Cities Salsa but it is those within the
community that nominate and elect the individual each month.

Salsera or Salsero of the Month?

What qualifies someone to be
the salsera or salsero of the month?
They must:
| Live in one of the Seven
Cities
(Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Newport News,
Hampton or Suffolk) |
| Have done at least one of
the following:
 | Has greatly improved in
the last month through hard work practicing |
| Helped with an event |
| Helped promote an event |
| Helped a new dancer
learn the dance |
| Or - Something worth
nominating them! |
