Hot Latin
Nights
with DJ Mongu of Selecta 1050AM
Jerry Rodriguez opened
another outstanding restaurant on September 10, 2004.
He named this location Guadalajara City Cafe and the
location was downtown Norfolk. Where else would
Rodriguez open but on the hottest block on the ever-popular
Granby Street? Located at 411 Granby Street, Guadalajara
City Cafe houses 10,000 square feet.
The sheik and stylish
atmosphere of Guad's is complimented by an airbrushed
hostess stand that leads the diner to one of two airbrushed
bar areas. Waiting to meet your party? Guadalajara
City Cafe has a waiting area featuring a starburst
waterfall wall plaque and plasma television. The same great
authentic Mexican food and service that made the other four
locations successful is evident here, too. You can
enjoy the "Fat Tuesday" frozen drink or the
Guadalajara signature Margarita. Rodriguez fashioned
this restaurant after restaurants that had he visited in
Atlanta, New York and Chicago.
