AFRO
CUBAN DANCE WORKSHOP
September
6, 1-3pm
$25 per person, 10% off for VIP Students
The
workshop will focus on the sacred African dances of
Cuba- the root of Cuban popular style. We will dance
for the orishas- Ellegua, Yemaya and Oya. We will also
close with some Rumba. The workshop is intended to
celebrate the folkloric music, song and dance of Afro
Cuban people.
 Instructor:
Ifé Milligan
Originally from St. Croix , Virgin Islands and of
Puerto Rican heritage, Ife began studying Afro- Cuban
dance in 1997 in New York City. She studied with
master teachers, Richard Gonzalez, Ricardo Colon and
Xiomara. In 2001, she continued her study of Afro-
Cuban/ Orisha Dance in Washington DC, with master
teacher, Oscar Rousseaux. She performed with "
Ochunmare" in NYC and " Ache- Moyubba
Folkloric Ensemble", in Washington DC.

the 6-8 week sessions? Looking for a crash
course in salsa? This class is for those seeking a
quick submersion in salsa dancing. Learn the footwork,
turns and moves to get you on the dance floor. You
will learn simple choreography and tips on how to take
your fundamentals to the next level. Novice dancer and
experienced welcome Come and learn salsa in one day!

Sexy Salsa Styling
Wednesdays at 7:30 starting Sept 3rd. (6 week series)
Ladies this class will teach you how to use what
you've got to add some personality and style on the
dance floor. We will learn a choreographed
routine to help remember all you learn. Focus on
hand/arm styling, body movement, hips and of course
legs. Add some sexy to your dance!
